[So, this isn't exactly a surprise. Nagito and his former classmates all knew most of the Future Foundation was less than fond of them. And anyway, this sort of thing happening to Nagito specifically is even less surprising. Having to run, getting separated from the rest of his former class, that's all the usual sort of bad luck he's dealt with all his life. Really, to have the bad luck be the cause of the situation is overall beneficial; it means the good luck will come in the midst of handling the situation.

But. Makoto is here as well. Given his role in the Remnants' rehabilitation, that he'd have to run isn't really the terrible part. It's that in the chaos Makoto has ended up with him when he could have been with Hajime or Kyoko or really anyone more capable of keeping Makoto safe.]

I really am sorry my bad luck had to attach itself to you like this! [This is not the first time Nagito has tried to apologize for this situation.] These things happen, but to get in the way of the Super High School Level Hope's plans like this, it's really shameful of me!

[Nagito has only a very general idea of where they are--when you're escaping it isn't really the best use of time to try and differentiate between alleyways and rubble more than you have to in order to make sure you're not going in circles--but he's not especially worried about that part. He's lucky, after all. He'll end up where his luck puts him.]

Winter Wonderland

snowfall;

stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

⑦ mix and match, or make up your own ‧:❉:‧

Labyrinthine

The labyrinth. A complex network of winding, serpentine passages with countless dead ends but only one exit. To some, the labyrinth is an amusing diversion; to others, the endless twists and turns cause mounting fear and confusion. Do you seek what's at the center? Or are you just trying to escape?

train to the afterlife meme
Congratulations: You are dead.

Maybe you know how, maybe you don't. Perhaps the memory is fuzzy, or perhaps it's crystal clear down to the look in your comrades' eyes. Maybe it was your time; you've done all you wanted to. Or maybe you weren't at all ready to go, maybe you went out kicking and screaming - but none of it matters. You know you're dead, and the train is taking you to an afterlife. Perhaps an afterlife of your choice; you might've earned that heaven. Or perhaps you've earned something else entirely.

It'll be a bit of a journey, though, so you might as well take your time and talk to the other people in your coach. Death knows no place: most of them are strangers, even from faraway worlds. But death knows no time either, so who knows, some of them may be people you know, even if last you knew, they were alive - or long gone.

Oh look, here comes the snack cart.

[Sans and Alphys had been working on a pet project. What was it exactly? It doesn't really matter because it definitely wasn't what actually happened, which was explode a little bit and turn Sans into a kid. Alphys has assured everyone involved (and some people not involved who just happened to be in apology range) that she can fix it, but it's going to take some time, and until then something needs to be done with Sans. That thing, of course, is to hand him off to Papyrus.

Sans has been put into proper clothes, mostly--so far, he's insisted on keeping his hoodie, and even though Sans fully grown was short, as a six-year-old, he's kind of swimming in it. So far he's been quiet and dubious about everything he's been told, except for when he stepped outside and was quiet and somewhere between overwhelmed and awestruck by being outside. He seems to have gotten over it, though. Now... Well, apparently he's home. And he gives Papyrus, much like he's given everyone, a very dubious look.]

You're really my brother? [This isn't the first time Sans has asked that, nor is it the first time Papyrus has gotten that look today.]

[Another week, another meeting. Alright, it wasn't as if they had meetings every week, but they certainly seemed unending. After another long plane trip, Lithuania had been looking forward to having a bed, any bed, to lay down in. He'd shared hotel rooms with Poland plenty of times before, and lived with the other nation in the past besides; he didn't expect to have any trouble beyond the kind that always accompanied Poland. Of course, that was before he got into the hotel room and saw one bed. King-sized, admittedly, but still. One.]

Is this the right room? [As if the keycard would have gotten him into just any room.]

the bodyguard shipping meme

You're a pop star, or a royal, or maybe even the last of your kind who will bring about the Earth's redemption. Whatever the case may be, you're in a position that may be a bit dicey if you attract the wrong kind of attention.

And you're a bodyguard, a soldier, a knight - a protector. Somehow, you've been roped into protecting this person. You'll be rewarded, of course. The work may be cut out for you, but just do your job, keep your head down, and it'll go smooth.

Except for when the two of you break the bounds of professionalism and feelings begin to flourish. Being in such close quarters may get you to see the other in a different light, and saving someone's life just may be the ultimate form of intimacy.

Could this be the real danger? To feel so strongly for the one you've sworn to protect...are you compromised?

How to Play
1. Comment with your character and preferences, being sure to put if you want to play the guard, the guarded, or either. Also, you may want to put if you prefer fluffy, angsty, or smutty interaction - or have no preference.
2. Comment to others.
3. There are no prompts, because there are so many potential options there could be a hundred. Feel free to play anything: the beginnings of the relationship, just meeting, getting used to each other/not getting along at first, the obligatory first time, a threat on the protected's life and how their protector responds, how the feelings between the two has changed the protection, etc. Your only limit is you.

[Lithuania has had enough to drink now that he's pretty sure he's tipsy. He's at least way too warm and a lot more cheerful than he usually feels in a party sort of situation. Everything's so delicious here, it's hard to convince himself to slow down on the alcohol. Oh well, he's from Eastern Europe, isn't he? He'll be fine! He looks sidelong at the first person to wander over to the bar without paying too much attention to who it actually is.]

[When the communications cut out, Frisk is far enough out that they can't see the more familiar reefs and creatures and most of what they can see looks the same--it's mostly kelp. Treading water with fluttering movements that betray signs of a child who isn't used to spending quite this much time in the ocean, Frisk reaches for the nearest kelp stalk and clings on to it in the hopes it will support their weight and allow them to rest, at least for a little while.

It really is getting dark, though. They can't see the bottom of the kelp forest anymore. But surely someone else must be out here, right? Slowly, Frisk weaves through the kelp, leapfrogging from one stalk to the next. It doesn't occur to them to call out telepathically; hopefully they don't run into anyone who's easily startled.]

[Lithuania, for once, is early. Too early, actually--she's been pacing nervously outside the restaurant for ten minutes now. Pacing in a dress, which is really only making her stomach knot up more. The restaurant calls for more fancy attire, so she didn't have to explain why Poland should dress up, but--well, Poland might have, anyway. She liked that sort of thing.

Lithuania fusses with her cell phone. She still has some time. Does Poland arrive early to these sorts of things? Lithuania can't really say. Usually Lithuania's the one being held up for some reason or another.]

[Oh, looks like the communications devices aren't working. Well, that's fine. Feferi's nocturnal anyway, she can just swim back, or even find a nice cave to nap in until--

Wait. She's not actually alone, is she? And a lot of the other species here are so fragile in the water. Well, Feferi Peixes isn't about to let anyone die in the ocean on her watch! Probably. ...She's not actually sure what these other species might need help with. She turns and flicks the fins at the sides of her head curiously.]

Are you cold? Or hungry? Or thirsty?

[Who knows what she plans on actually doing about any of those potential problems. Also, she hasn't addressed the "lost in the ocean with no navigation devices" problem.]

[Having lived most of her life secluded in her bedroom, the bright lights and massive crowds of Bavan are overwhelming. Even with her emotions roiling inside her, she can't feel the ice in her fingers, but she keeps her gloves on nonetheless, having put them on every day since she arrived. She has to be sure that curse doesn't come back and catch her by surprise.

Walking slowly through the streets, hands folded neatly in front of her to keep them out of the way, she finds herself slipping through the crowd with mumbled apologies and excuse mes as she tries not to run into anyone. Being so close to so many people is at once thrilling and terrifying, and she's starting to think she should have stayed in Vandere.

The smell of candy and chocolate catches her attention, though, and draws her to one window in particular. It appears to be a high-quality candy shop, and Elsa can't help but stop and look longingly through the window. She doesn't have any money here, so there's not much she can do except look. Still...]

It smells so good. [At some point she should probably try to break her habit of talking to herself.]

(Based on scenario one from the Ryslig Test Drive.)

Leviathan! Leviathan, please wake up.

[Anyone following the sounds of a very worried teenage girl will find a rather strange sight--Squigly is nudging and petting and fussing over a strange white snake dragon sticking out of her own head. The creature is obviously very deeply asleep, hanging limply from her head like a second pigtail.

And Squigly can feel the weight of him coiled in her. They're practically one being, she knows he's all there. But having been fished up out of the water and arriving somewhere so strange, so unlike New Meridian, she has no idea how long she's been asleep or what might have happened in the interim. She can't feel the pressure of a Skullgirl on her will, but neither is Leviathan's voice there to keep her company.]

It's okay. [She strokes the head of her sleeping parasite.] I'll figure out a way to help you.

[There are a lot of things Lithuania didn't want to happen today. There are a lot of things Lithuania didn't want to happen recently, in fact, up to and including waking up in this place at all, but right now being lost in the woods was at the top of his list. Not only was it unfortunate, it was embarrassing--Lithuania had spent a lot of his young life wandering forests and he hated to think his sense of direction had deteriorated so much now that he lived in an age of GPS and roads connecting cities and towns. He's sure he's ended up looping around at least twice, no matter how impossible that feels to him, and did he just hear giggling?

He's trying not to be too jumpy, but by this point, it's gone from just an embarrassing annoyance to being eerie. He's sure he's just hearing things, though. No one else is even here.]

[It's starting to snow, but Lithuania doesn't mind it yet--it's not heavy, and he's a little distracted. Not that that isn't normal for him, of course--he's prone to daydreaming and distractions. Unfortunately, this means he's not paying attention to how Poland's acting, either.]
