Ryslig Sample
(Based on scenario one from the Ryslig Test Drive.)
Leviathan! Leviathan, please wake up.
[Anyone following the sounds of a very worried teenage girl will find a rather strange sight--Squigly is nudging and petting and fussing over a strange white snake dragon sticking out of her own head. The creature is obviously very deeply asleep, hanging limply from her head like a second pigtail.
And Squigly can feel the weight of him coiled in her. They're practically one being, she knows he's all there. But having been fished up out of the water and arriving somewhere so strange, so unlike New Meridian, she has no idea how long she's been asleep or what might have happened in the interim. She can't feel the pressure of a Skullgirl on her will, but neither is Leviathan's voice there to keep her company.]
It's okay. [She strokes the head of her sleeping parasite.] I'll figure out a way to help you.

Leviathan?

[She only knows a little about what happened to her. She knows she was found in the ocean with cuts and bruises. She knows Leviathan is alive, which is better than nothing at all. His silence and ongoing sleep are still worrisome.]

Shouldn't he like water? [ Not that he seems very similar to one, just pointing out the irony. Still, she seems worried. ] He looks pretty comfortable. Is that how he usually sleeps? [ Inside her head. ]

But a little water couldn't hurt anyone. [ With the implication that maybe it's not just that. ]

Excuse me-- [A polite approach, before getting straight to the point--] --would it not behoove you to take your, 'Leviathan' to a doctor? Or perhaps a veterinarian?

Unfortunately, I can't say I can see why. The medical progress here does seem to be a bit outdated-- though from the sound of your concern, I would wager your situation is a bit more complicated than that?

[But she's not even sure where she is. Technology does seem to have deteriorated from when she was last conscious.]

From the sounds of it, that would suggest a sort of symbiotic relationship, wouldn't it? [Parasite sounded a little worrying, but she didn't seem to be that worried about it herself.]

I can't say I know very much on the subject of parasites or these 'forces' of which you speak-- but if this Leviathan and you are symbiotic, then even if he has yet to waken, I'm sure he must be alright.

Forgive me for not introducing myself before. [Even though her acquaintance is blind, she bobs into a curtsy. He might be able to guess at the general gesture based on how the movement changes where her voice is coming from for a few moments.] I'm Squigly. Who are you?
no subject
My name is Light. [He smiles and bows his head in her direction in kind, either out of his own sense of manners or in reciprocation to her own gesture.] A pleasure to meet you, Squigly.
